I just saw an interview with Lila Rose on the Mike Huckabee show. In 2004, she founded Live Action, a non-profit Pro-life organization. In view of the highly publicized trial of Kermit Gosnell, the organization sought out to show that it was not just an isolated problem. Women who were near the due date for their child to be born visited various clinics as undercover reporters for Live Action. The staff at these clinics talked rather matter-of-factly, calmly, and on some occasions near jokingly about their common procedures ...of either allowing, or causing babies to die if born alive and breathing.
If someone did this to kittens, or little puppies ...they would likely be arrested. Yet, for exposing that it is not just Gosnell, she has been labeled as a terrorist. They commit the unthinkable terrible acts, yet call her a terrorist.
Who else are called terrorists?
Missionaries who go to other countries to try to teach ...have also been labeled wrong, intrusive, and even terrorists. Yet, if an island, or isolated civilization thrived on peacefulness ...they would certainly not reject the missionary. They would probably enjoy the addition to the conversation of the peaceful way of Jesus. And we could discuss how a nation that believes in Jesus has become so unpeaceful. We could teach them the truth of Jesus, and they could possibly teach us a thing or two about living in peace along with that truth.
The media, and the entire political machine that helps drive these new ideas ...also label many Christians as terrorist. I do not hear them mention so much the Westboro Baptist Church ...which I have much disagreement with. There are many radical churches, yet it seems the ones that call for responsible and moral action ...are the ones that become their focus. At times, it is difficult to stand ...yet, more evident to do so. Necessity calls for it ...and those who rise to the need should be called courageous.
Yet, there is this building ideology ...that may someday become a building, in dedication to all these new ideas they call progress. I don't know who they'd dedicate the building to ...probably our Commander-in-Chief, but they'd more accurately have to call it a Lie-brary.
The government should not rule so much over the citizenry as it should rule for them ...representatively. The problem is with the hidden agenda, or as we would call it ...intent.
Look at the collapse of Enron in 2001. Destroying, altering, and fabricating records ...to mislead authorities from discovering how they defrauded shareholders was enough to convince most everyone of the abuse. It seemed clear enough that the intent was for a few to get rich at the expense of those who dreamed for a share in what they viewed as a good thing.
Would we still consider it abuse if it was not a financial scam? Is it okay to sway or convince of any good thing, if the intent is to take advantage of what they don't know ...instead of genuinely being concerned that they be properly informed?
If I knew something major was wrong with my car, and I tried to sell it under the pretense that nothing was wrong with it ...how acceptable is that? I am a United States citizen, and I am a Christian ...and I'm telling you that something is definitely wrong with our country.
But, many who say this same thing are part of what is wrong.
They are telling you that right is wrong, and wrong is right.
"Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!" ---Isaiah 5:20
So, who is telling you what is right?
